Product Tracking Program
Maintaining the integrity of our services is one of our most serious concerns. The CCC needs to maintain control over its loads by tracking exactly how much is being brought into each facility or it risks being rendered irrelevant. This tracking system also offers the client an extra service not available by any other certification agency. Simply put, CCC can offer you an outsourced tracking system that will work in concert with any compliance program. Many existing certifications have major security flaws in the fact that they only require a single label to be placed anywhere on the packaging, so in effect anyone who can get their hands on the labels can certify the product. While no system is 100%, the CCC tracks its packages using a comprehensive system.
A) The supplier will be issued labels that are printed in the United States at the CCC headquarters.
The number of labels issued will be controlled by the CCC. The labels will be coded with tracking information provided by authorized personnel who are interviewed
by the CCC inspector during the facility audit. These personnel will be fingerprinted and must have
fingerprint identification on file with the CCC in order
to enter tracking information. This procedure will take place on every lot imported under the CCC program.
B) The supplier will then lock the shipment with a container seal.
This seal number will be called into our data center upon
receipt at its destination to make sure that it is truly a CCC load. CCC loads cannot
be combined with non-CCC product because of possible cross-contamination issues.
In addition, there will be an inspection of the lot upon arrival.
C) The end user will be able to call in the CCC label number to verify if the load that
they received is truly a CCC load. If it isn't in our system, it isn't a CCC load.
